Dr. Marilyn Given

Dr. Marilyn Given (DMD)

Dr. Marilyn Given DMD always wanted to have a career in the healthcare field. Since graduating from the University of Manitoba in 2001, she has practiced dentistry in Airdrie. Before beginning any dental work, Dr. Given goes through the treatment plan with all patients so they understand what is being recommended. She is also a big believer that prevention is crucial; she works with her patients to motivate them to practice good oral healthcare at home, so problems don’t develop.

“I’ve always found orthodontics especially interesting and enjoyable because both the dentist and patient can see an obvious result. I like to work through the treatment plan from beginning to end.”

In her spare time, Dr. Given is involved in several outdoor activities including skiing and hiking. When she’s not in the mountains, she enjoys acrylic painting and spending time with her husband and two young children. Contact Railway Avenue Dental for your next dental appointment and change how you feel about going to the dentist!
